Customer terms
The framework for ordering event services from CATR. Read these terms together with your specific quote and order confirmation.
Version: 2026-11-01-v1
1. Seller and agreement
These terms apply to private consumers and businesses purchasing event services from CATR ApS, CVR 46528573. CATR is the seller and your contractual party, coordinates suppliers and issues the customer invoice. Standard online bookings cover events performed in Denmark. Events abroad or services requiring a different VAT treatment require a separate written quote.
2. Requests and confirmation
A request or selection does not reserve availability. The organizer must review and explicitly confirm the final quote, order details, billing identity and displayed terms. That confirmation creates the agreement. The accepted version and price are preserved; later changes to public pages do not change an existing booking.
3. Prices and VAT
The price shown before confirmation is the total customer price, including the stated VAT and delivery. CATR’s remuneration is included in that total; no separate 10% administration surcharge is added. Standard taxable sales in Denmark use 25% VAT. The supplier’s agreed purchase price is a separate matter between CATR and the supplier.
4. Deposit and balance
For bookings more than 14 calendar days before the event, 10% of the total including VAT and delivery is due immediately and the remaining 90% is due 14 calendar days before the event. The deposit is part of the total, not an extra fee. If the booking is made on or after the balance due date, the full total is due immediately. The invoice shows the exact due dates. No separate five-working-day rule applies.
5. Order and billing details
Check the date, time, address, quantities, delivery arrangements and dietary requirements before confirming. Billing name, email and full address are required; Danish companies also provide their CVR. Saved organisation billing details prefill future purchases; accepted invoice identities stay frozen. Use anonymous dietary quantities wherever possible and do not add unnecessary health details or guest names to an order.
6. Customer cancellation
For voluntary customer cancellation, the standard cancellation charge is 10% of the total more than 14 days before the start, 55% from 14 days down to and including 7 days before, and 100% less than 7 days before. This corresponds to retaining the 10% deposit and refunding 100%, 50% or 0% of the remaining 90%. Payments already made are deducted from the charge; an unpaid balance is only payable up to the resulting cancellation charge. Mandatory rights and any legally required reduction for saved costs or replacement sales prevail.
7. Problems and complaints
Report delays, defects or missing delivery to team@catr.io with the order reference as soon as reasonably possible so CATR can seek a remedy. This is not a deadline that removes statutory rights. CATR handles the complaint as your seller. If an unresolved consumer complaint falls within their remit, you may contact the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution/Consumer Complaints Board or the relevant approved specialist board.
Official reference8. Statutory withdrawal and cancellation
The usual consumer withdrawal right does not apply to catering agreed for a specified date or period under section 18(2)(12) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. Other products and services are assessed under their applicable rules. Businesses do not receive a statutory consumer withdrawal right. This distinction does not remove mandatory consumer rights or remedies for defective performance.
Official reference9. CATR cancellation and non-performance
If CATR cannot deliver the agreed service and you do not accept a suitable replacement, payment for the undelivered part, including its deposit, is refunded. Defective or partial performance is assessed individually with statutory remedies preserved. CATR does not retain an administration fee for an undelivered service. Force majeure is handled individually and does not create an automatic right to keep payment for services not supplied.
10. Changes, refunds and time
Cancellation and changes must be sent to CATR in writing. Moving an event requires a written agreement; until then the original booking remains. Cancellation cut-offs use the event’s accepted start time and timezone (Europe/Copenhagen by default). Payment due dates are calendar dates in the same timezone. Refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 14 calendar days after entitlement and amount are established, subject to mandatory shorter deadlines; the payment provider may take additional processing time.
11. Law and language
Danish law applies, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections that otherwise apply. Consumers retain their lawful complaint and court options. Business disputes are brought before the ordinary Danish courts under the usual venue rules. The Danish version prevails if translations differ, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
